Although it may sound completely impossible without the help of some sort of magic potion, believe it or not it is anything but. Losing weight at a fast rate has been deemed unhealthy and very risky, but there are ways to go about it in a safer and healthier manner. Whether you’re looking to drop a few pounds or five, here are a few ways on how you can go about achieving healthy, rapid weight loss:
Reduce sodium consumption. A lot of people are unaware that a vast majority of the foods we consume contain hefty amounts of salt. Whenever we eat salt it takes our bodies quite a while to flush it out, thus causing us to feel a lot heavier. This is due to the fact that our bodies retain water in order to move along the process of flushing the excess sodium out of our systems. By completely letting go of salty foods for a day, you would be assisting your body in cleansing out any remaining water and sodium at a faster rate. This will ultimately eliminate bloating and aid you in shedding a few pounds very fast.
Cut carbs. Cutting carbs may be one of the easiest ways to quickly lose weight. If you cut the amount of carbs you normally consume, you can literally make your weight disappear. Every pound of carbohydrates stored inside us, has about 3-5 pounds of water stored inside of it. This can easily cause you to look and feel heavier than you actually are. By burning off these carbs you will essentially get rid of any stored water, and in the end you will look and feel much, much lighter.
Sweat. It may not always be the most comfortable, but sweating is one of the most common and easiest ways to lose weight quickly. Not only are you ridding your body of yucky toxins, you’re also getting rid of any extra salt and water. Simply going for a run or hitting the gym for a few hours, can help you to break a nice sweat, burn fat, and release any remaining water.
Create a cut-off time. This is a challenge but it will definitely be well worth it. Cutting off eating/ snacking after a certain time( evening hours) could contribute greatly to your goal of shedding pounds in a day. Eating after evening hours will only cause all of your hard work to go unnoticed, as your body wouldn’t be able to burn off any additional weight in so little time. So steer clear of any and all late night treats since they will only work against you and your end goal.
