A South Carolina man extorted $70,000 posing as an immigration officer and was arrested in Greenville, SC after scamming 6 victims promising to help with their legal U.S. status.
The charges against Michael Ruiz includes extortion, trafficking, impersonating an officer and selling fictitious license, just to name a few. He is in a Greenville County jail on no bond.
