The Book of Clarence had it’s opening day on Friday, January 09, 2024. The film was directed by England native director Jeymes Samuel, the director of the film The Harder They Fall, and also the brother of the singer Seal.
The film composition is beautiful. The acting is amazing. The humor is intelligent. The film doesn’t quite perpetuate the African Americans as the real Jews in this film but will promote some to look more into the newfound truth.
We know very little about Clarence, the twin brother of Thomas, one of the Messiah’s 12 disciples. Very little is said about him in the scriptures that we have today. Thomas’ twin brother’s true name was never mentioned in the scriptures.
The film was shot in Jerusalem and Italy and has a lot of beautiful scenes. I don’t recall seeing any cgi used in this film, if used it was very unnoticeable. I would highly recommend this film, but not for educational purposes. Although the real Jews are said to be black, this movie is not exactly scripture based.
